Entebbe Zoo

The Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC), commonly known as the Entebbe Zoo, is a premier wildlife sanctuary located on the shores of Lake Victoria in Entebbe. Established in the 1950s, it serves as both a conservation hub and an educational center, offering visitors a chance to learn about Uganda’s rich biodiversity while supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured wildlife
